The picture above is the 2 room school in Villa Nuria, Honduras. Over 80 children attend this school. They have 2 teachers and the children attend this school from first to sixth grade.

The children of Honduras, ages 0-14, make up 41.8 percent of the population. Because of lack of schools, understaffed schools, and high cost of materials, a little less than half of the population may suffer from poor education which will keep Honduras in its constant state of poverty. We want to see the nation outgrow its image as being hopeless and the only way to accomplish this is through the growth acquired only through education.
